Domain Name Generators - General introduction

Are you also obsessed with finding the correct name for your website or blog?

Do you feel short of ideas in finding domains?
Did you also find difficulty in finding domain names with TLD ( .com, .net, .org, .info, etc ) extension and their availability on social platforms?

Did you also want to know which domain generator gives the best, short and unregistered domain?

Best domain name generator list

Then definitely you are on right place because you will get to know the more than 64 domain name generators and best one which we use and you should also use instead of wasting time rubbish tools.

If you want to read summary first then just go to 14th para, where I have discussed the best tools to use in brief and also in which condition to use them. However, if you have time then you must read all the article because best for us doesn't mean best for everyone.

Because I have personally used all ( 64+ ) tools and found that many of them are time wasting, they don't give you the right suggestions that you really want and many tools are owned by a single company, to give you similar suggestions so that you can find only those domains which they want you to sell to you.

I had exposed all of them and their advantages and disadvantages too, now you don't need to waste your time on them as I had done all that work needed.

First of all, if you don't know what a domain is then read this small paragraph otherwise move ahead to the summary part which is discussed after 11 paras.

If you want to know the domain in technical form then you can read on Wikipedia here, but I will tell you in a very easy way so you can understand everything properly.

Domain name is just a name or you can say address of your website, like Facebook have Facebook.com, Wikipedia have Wikipedia.com, Google have Google.com, etc and that extensions ( .com / .org ) are important for determining the right website like WordPress.org is different and WordPress.com is different ( both are of single company, but used for different purposes )

Types of domains (with examples)

TLD (Top Level Domain): .com ( commercial ), .net, .org ( organisation ), .online, .co, .website, .site, .info, .club, .host, .me, .space, .int ( international ), etc.

CcTLD (Country Code Top Level Domains): .us ( for USA ), .uk ( for United Kingdom ), .ca ( for Canada ) .de ( for Germany ), .jp ( for Japan ), etc

gTLD (Generic Top Level Domains): .academy ( for academic institutes ), .accountants ( for accountants and accounting firms), .active    ( for The Active Network ), .actor ( for actors ), .ads ( for adrtising firms ), .edu ( for educational institutions ), etc.

Second Level Domains: www.Neilpatel.com, www.backlinko.com, etc they include some name in between the www. and .com, most of time you are actually searching for these domains, from the above examples word 'neilpatel' and 'backlinko' are second level domain with '.com' top level domain.

Also, there are some County Code Second level domains like .gov.uk ( government of UK ), .org.uk ( organization of UK ), .gov.au ( government of Australia ), etc

Sub Level Domains: from above example of www.neilpatel.com 'www.' is the third level domain or you can say subdomain, but most of time you need subdomain for making your website niche specific like I have xyz.com, I want to add store in my website from where people can buy, then I can add store.xyz.com to above domain to avoid the mixing of content of xyz.com and store.xyz.com

Who controls and defines that this is TLD and this is gTLD?

All this is done by ICCNN ( The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers  ) - it is a non profit organization, who manages and assigns domain names all over the world.

What are the Domain Name Generators?

These are nothing but just tools that run on a special program which helps them to combine a large number of names with other names to get you the best name and then checking their price and availability (registered or unregistered) of that domain name with different domain registrar.

Summary of all best selected SEO friendly domain names Generators

From the long list of domain name generators or you can say blog name generators discussed in upcoming paragraphs, how will I find the best domain for my website or business?

Main content in detail

Here is the list of 64 + blog name generator or you can say domain names generator all are manually tested and their good / bad points are also discussed.

1. Nameboy

This tool claims to be the best domain names generator, but according to me, I don't think it is, although it gives good suggestions related to your keyword typed, but the majority of the domains shown over there are already taken.

It also have many different tools also like :

Domain Name Generator

Business Name Generator

Store Name Generator

Blog Name Generator

Brand Name Generator

Podcast Name Generator

Startup Name Generator

YouTube Name Generator

But, here is the catch: you will find that all above tools by Nameboy work on the same code, just their name is different and all the suggestions given by them for your search query are the same. So, your search on one tool means search on all.

2. Lean domain search

This Domain name Generator gives a large list of (dot).com domains related to your main keyword, not only domains but also finds that domain's availability on Twitter.

It gives very nice features, like can you filter domain names with popularity, length, or you want to arrange all domains alphabetically, or you may want your searched keyword to be in front of the domain or you want your keyword to be at the end of the domain.

All these features are available on this tool and it provides a very long, I repeat again very long list of all new ( fresh ) domains. While, on some of the keywords like home, tech, etc, it may not show you a long list of domains, but on most of the keywords it shows a very long list of domains which sometimes goes up to 5,000. Yes, believe me or try it yourself.

What I like a lot about this tool is not just a long list and new domains, but the domains suggested by this tool have relevancy and are easy to pronounce, it does not create a long list of random domains which doesn't make any sense.

3. Freshbook

I always use this tool as it only gives you top 3 suggestions of related keywords and all are new one.

Firstly, you have go to their site and then press 'let's get started' button, then select category from these four categories -

1. Creatives & Marketing

2. Legal Services & Business Consulting

3. Trades & Home Services

4. Information Technology

And then at the last step just type what name you want like I typed 'market' and then press 'make me a name' button. That's it, you will get top 3 names for your business or blog, like for 'Market' it shows Market Brain Trust, Cyber market, Digital market

Every time when you do the search again with the same keyword but with different industry category you will get the different names, so don't miss to check your name with different industries category and also don't forget to see the 'show me more names' section of this tool to get more domains related to your query.

4. Shift 4 shop

This tool will help you to find all available domain names but with only three extensions .com, .net, .co and also with industry filters like business, consulting, design, creative, software, marketing, fashion, advertising to make our domain more targeted.

You can find a domain related to your keyword as well as your industry, like if I run a company in the marketing industry and I want a 'sale' keyword to be in my domain, then you simply put the sale in the search box and apply marketing as an industry filter, you will get many top results like salemedia.net, salenetworking.com, etc.

5. Domain.com

It is not only a domain name generator but it is also a domain registrar site, so you can search and buy from a single place.

But I don't recommend this for beginners as most of the domains you will get here are premium domains, which will cost you a lot.

But, if you do domain buying and selling business then this tool may help you a little more, because here you will get a list of premium domains, which you can buy now and make a profitable website on that domain and sell it at a high price on sites like flippa.com, websitebroker.com, etc.

Read it for knowing real value of domain :

https://namecorp.com/the-real-value-of-a-domain-name

6. NameStudio

This tool should be the one of the main tools to find domain names if your targeted audience is Indian

I said this because, this tool will find your domain name with extensions like .com, .net, .tv, .cc only, but it will also find domains with some commonly used Indian names like bhai ( brother ), ghar ( home ), sastaa ( cheap ), bazaar ( market ), and many more.

Example - sastaaearn.com, earnbazzar.com

In this tool you can also fix maximum characters limit, increase and decrease relevancy of domain suggestions and can also select all or any one of extensions from these .com, .net, .tv, .cc.

7. Instant domain search

This tool finds your domain in 3 categories, in the first category, it finds your exact typed word with many different extensions from .com to .ai and .link to .exposed and many more.

In the second category, it generates new domain names with their software, you will get all related domains with a price tag and buy button and if anyone has taken that domain then in just one click you can also check who owns it, and all domains generated by this tool are also new and unique.

In the third category, it shows all domains related to your keyword which are on sale with price and broker contact information, if you found a good domain from sale then you can buy it easily from them.

8. Domain Name Soup

This tool finds the domains related to your keyword in 10+ different categories, in the 1st one, it shows availability of your domain name with .com

2nd category is cool domain ideas, in which you can see short domains and if you like that domain then by clicking again on it you see it's availability in different extensions like, .com, .net, .us, .ca, .org, .me, .co.uk, .de, etc.

In the 3rd category, you will get business domain names, which are relevant to your business.

In the 4th section, it shows the premium domain names and their prices and more details. Many other categories are there but they are not very useful all the time, so they are only useful in certain conditions, like in the 9th section it shows domain names with hyphens, so if you are looking for domain names with hyphens then you can look at this one.

9. Domain Typer

This tool has become my another favourite tool after finding it. I can bet you will also become a fan of this if you use it once.

When you enter your keyword in the search bar, it quickly shows the availability of your keyword with different extensions like .com, .net, .online, .org, .app, .info, .co, .site, .store, .shop, etc.

When you go down, it shows all new domain names generated by this tool under the category - instant domain name generator.

When you go further down, it shows a domain hack from where you can get more ideas related to your domain name which sometimes are very premium, like I searched 'hell' in the search bar and in the domain hack section, it showed me suggestions 'he.com', which is a very premium domain.

And at the last it will show the availability of the selected domain on 34 social media platforms from facebook to Flickr and from Blogger to Slack and from Twitch to Reddit. It checks on almost all majorly used social media platforms.

Not only this, it also has other tools to find country specific domain names with country code at the end of the domain like .us ( for USA ), .uk ( for United Kingdom ), .de ( for Germany ), etc.

More also, it will also find you domain with city specific extensions and can also find industry specific extensions like .arts, .design, .dance, .play, etc for arts and music industry and .degree, .MBA, .PhD, etc for education industry and .cash, .pay, .fund, etc for finance industry and many other 23 industries you can check on this tool.

One more last one, in the 'top website' section of this tool ( which you will find at the top of this tool website ) you will get a list of top domains and websites of the world, this is very helpful in finding the best domain names.

10. Domain wheel

This tool runs its domain search wheel and get you the best and new domains related to your keywords with different extensions ( which you can filter also ) like .com, .biz, .club, .store, .net, .info, .blog, .org, .co, .site, .website,. us, .online, .space, .tech.

You can select all these extensions to include in your domain or you can select only one or two. Most of ( around 95% ) domains here are new, so it is a good tool to see once.

11. Isitwp's domain name generator

This tool is powered by nameboy which is also a domain name generator.

In this tool you will get a best and short domains list, but you will not find domains which are new, meaning most of the domains here are high quality but they are already taken. So, it is very less helpful if you're looking for any fresh domain name.

12. Wordoid

At the first look this tool looks like an old school site, but remember, sometimes this tool also gives you good suggestions.

It make your work easier by helping us to add filters to find domains, like :

The 1st filter is, Language filter to select language from English, Spanish, French, Italian, German.

2nd one is, Quality filter to select which quality of suggestions you want, low or medium or high.

3rd one is, pattern filter to add your keyword in the beginning or in the middle or at the end of the domain.

4th one is, length filter to select the maximum length of words of domain, generated by this tool.

5th and last one, is domain name filter to show you all domains related to your keyword or show only available domains.

But, one problem you will face with this tool is, you will get many suggestions, but they are very random that sometimes changes meaning of your domain name ( like I search for 'earn' it shows some results like 'Learnly' and yes, this thing sometimes helps in giving new idea about domain but sometimes it make us feel frustrated also, so you have to keep close eye to catch the best domain.

One another thing is that, not all domains suggested by this tool are new, you will find many domains taken by someone and many on sale sometimes you will get fresh domains. So, it gives you mixed results.

13. Namelix

Namelix is a very popular domain name generator with a good looking interface and also with good suggestions.

It have 3 step to follow,

At first step, you have to select the keyword you want to get in domain

At second step, you have select length of domain like 3 - 6 letters, 6 - 12 letters or 12 + letters

At third step, you have select any one of category listed below :

Brandable names popular (like Google and Trulia)

Or

Multiple words (like Facebook and Bitcoin)

Or

Foreign words (like Toyota and Audi)

Or

Compound word (like Fedex and Instagram)

Or

Misspellings (like Lyft and Flickr)

Or

Real words (like Apple and Amazon)

Or

Rhyming words (like SubHub and FireWire)

Or

Person names (like Giorgio Armani)

Then just press generate button and get best results, you get a list of all domain names with logos of them, what made me like this tool is it provides premium, new and some not too cheap and not to expensive domains suggestions with high quality logos, but remember that you will not find cheap domains if you select Brandable names filter while searching.

You will find mixed prices ( cheap to affordable to expensive ) domains in other categories like rhyme words, compound words, multiple words filters and with logos also.

14. HowToStartanllc

This tool shows you a long list of domains related to your keywords which are short and 90% are new, which means you can get them at a low price.

Now, coming to my personal experience, I have seen most of the domain names generated by this tool and lean domain search are almost the same, so if you had done your research on lean domain search then you would not need to check this tool.

The major difference between this tool and lean domain search is, this tool provides only short domain names while lean domain search provides all from short to long domains. But, I prefer leandomainsearch over this, due to more options.

15. ZYRO

This tool is for finding the domain with the related TLD extensions for your selected keyword. You can easily check the price and availability of your domain.

This tool doesn't give many suggestions related to your keyword. I don't use this tool because at first it shows very few suggestions and secondly, the majority of suggested domains by this tool are already taken, which means you can't buy them.

16. NameMesh

This tool generates domain names by making their categories and hiding domains which are taken. It makes 10 different categories for different domain styles.

If you search 'happy' it will show a 'common' category in which it checks domain availability with TLD ( Top Level Domains ) like .com, .net, .org, .info, etc here only happy.org is available so it is shown in that category and other are not visible like happy.net, happy.com as they are taken by someone.

Then, it shows new domains in a new category and in the next category ( i.e., SEO ) it shows the domains which are good for SEO, and in the premium category you will find all premium domain names.

It also checks the availability of your domain name on Facebook and Twitter.

17. Panabee

I don't know why many people have mentioned this tool in their article, I found this tool least useful from all other tools.

It has many sub tools like business name generator, app name generator, domain name generator, but all are similar and all show 100% the same result. I don't know what is the use of creating different tools if all work on the same code, at least some difference should be there.

Domain suggestions given by this tool are also not good as most of the suggested domains by this tool are not available to buy and which are available to buy are not friendly domain names like I searched 'earn' it shows me result 'nuearn.com'.

At last, I am also mentioning this tool in my article just to inform you that you should not waste your time on these tools, instead go for other much - much better tools are available, which you will find later.

18. IWantMyName

This tool is clearly the winner and god of all domain name generators who specializes in showing domain with different extensions, I personally use it a lot to find any best extension with my domain, because it provides domain name with 400+ all most all possible extension and with just one click on filter, you can hide those domain which are taken, now you are left with the all domains with different extension with price tag in front and available to buy and all are new.

19. Domainsbot

This tool sometimes shows the domain names related to the main keywords and sometimes exact matches to your keyword, but it only shows domain with some new and different extensions like, .pet, .gallery, .law, rentals, .properties, .family, etc. So, this tool is more helpful if you want different, but new extensions related to your domain.

20. Namestall

This one tool has many sub tools like domain search tool, where it simply searches for domain names and one tool to find high paying keywords and availability of domains related to that high paying keyword.

Another sub tool of this tool, which I liked most is rhyming domain name generator where you can find very nice and easily memorable and speakable domains, like earnlearn.com, happyslappy.com, etc. You just go through its features once, to understand this tool better.

But, the only problem with this tool is you cannot search more than 3 - 4 times at this tool, so to do more searches you have to buy their premium plan.

But, I have a solution for this also, you can use this tool in incognito mode, after doing 3 - 4 searches, close it and open it again, then again do 3 - 4 searches and close it then open it again. In this way you access this tool for unlimited time for free.

21. Hostpapa.in

This tool mainly gives suggestions of your typed keyword with many new and different extensions like .credit, .build, .gift, .tech, .capital, .guide, etc. It also shows the suggested domain names availability and price.

When you scroll down then you will find some alternative domain name ideas to your main keyword to give you some more ideas. Like I searched for 'earn', and at first, it showed me results like earn.tech, earn.guide, etc and later it showed some related and unrelated results like earnonline.community and win.gift to give you more ideas.

22. Namecheap's Domain Name Generator

This is also a good tool to find domains by Namecheap which is a good domain registrar company.

It will not find a domain related to your keywords, but with the help of filters you can find your domain with almost every extension possible.

To find the domain name firstly, you have put multiple keyword in box which you want in domain, then you can set price limit also and then you can select all or select any one or two extensions with which you want your domain name to be generated, then just run this tool and you will get all domain names with all extensions you have selected and their availability to buy and date of registration with price to buy or to make offer.

The only downside is you will not find more domains related to keywords with different prefixes and suffixes, like learntrading.com and Bloghunter.com

23. Name.com

This is also a very useful tool. As this tool gives very few domain name ideas, but the section which I like the most is they provide information of your domain name with new and different types of extension, like .degree, .gift, .green, .games, .download, etc.

Sometimes, you will find very nice extensions related to your short domain like earn.degree, go.green, save.storage, etc and if some domains make great sense then by selling it you can make good profit.

In the bulk domain search section, you can put many keywords which you want in your domain, then it gives you the result of all domains available to buy with different extensions matching to the keywords you had typed.

One more section, which I liked a lot is a 'expiring domains' section, where you will find the list of all expiring domains in coming time, I use this tool to find expiring domain as it will give you option to exclude hyphenated, exclude numbers in domain and filter the price range of domain, length of domain and time to expire like in 24hrs, in 1 day, in 7 days.

24. SuggestMeDomain

This tool also wins a chance to look at his suggestion, as this tool suggests only .com domains and most importantly all domains are very short and readable, but the only downside is this tool doesn't give suggestions of only new domains, it also gives suggestions of domains which are on sale and taken by someone.

It gives mixed results of domains which are new and some are on sale at premium. So, you have to manually go and check that domains are new or selling for a second or third time.

25. GoDaddy's Domain Name Generator

This is not very useful if you want to find a large amount of domain ideas related to your keyword, as this tool only finds your typed keyword's availability and price and few other domains related to your keyword.

If you type 'earn' in the search box, you will find only earn.com and it will tell you it's price and it's availability and below it will show some small list of the related domains, which are sometimes new and sometimes they are on sale.

26. Domain Puzzler

This tool is also not very helpful in finding bulk domains related to your main name, but it is a very good tool to find domains with extensions like .biz, .blog, .store, .online, .site, . website, .tech, .net, .space, .Asia, . Berlin, .London, .cm, .pro, .new, .casa, .mom, .pe, .top, .eco, .desi, .vip, .nyc, .cam, .in.net, .me.uk, .dev, .org.au, org.mx and some other not so popular extension.

But, I don't use it as many other tools also find domains with more different extensions, which I had already discussed and you will also find my best selections in the last section of my blog.

27. NameSmith.io

This tool is for finding short, but it generates random domain names, which means sometimes the name generated by this tool doesn't make sense like I searched 'earn', it showed me results like 'wearn', 'dearn', etc which can completely change my domain name.

But, I had mentioned it here, as sometimes you will get new ideas for the domain and it also provides a filter of finding names with different extensions like .com, .us, .io, .net, etc. You can select all extensions or you can choose only specific extensions with your selected domain.

28. DomainR

This also a very good tool to find all best TLD extensions related to your domain and also find are they available to buy or not and best this is when you click on that domain you will get all details of that domain name i.e., when it was registered and who registered, etc. It gives the same information like we get on different whois tools.

29. WebHostingGeeks

They review various hosting companies in their blogs and they also have a tool to generate domain names and I personally don't use it and I came to know about it, while I was doing research for this article.

So, I tested it and found that it gave nice suggestions of names but most of them are premium domains for which you have to pay a lot.

So, I don't recommend this tool to any beginners, but if you want to try it, then I would suggest you to use other tools which are way better than this tool, like lean domain search, Namelix, etc.

30. Name Station

In this tool, you will find the best Domains, but not the domains which are new. Means, you will find the best domain related to your keyword which most of them are taken.

But, when you sign up, then you can filter and find domains which are unregistered.

You can also find the best domain in the contest section ( which you find at the end of the blog or go to Home bar ) of Name Station from where you can get an idea of which type of domains are currently selling.

31. BustaName

This tool find domain name with extension like .com, .net, .info, .biz, .org only, yes with only top 5 extension and one unique thing you will find in this tools is that it if you allow this tool, it will also find a domain name with prefix like - I, e, my, the, bust a and suffix like - ly, ster, let.

This is a good tool for getting good domains with relevant and good prefixes and suffixes.

In the 'domain maker' section of this tool which you will find at the top of their website, you will find a lot of more ideas related to you or domain name with .com, .org, .info, .net, .biz extension and good things is when you click on buy button of selected domain then it will show you the best lowest price of that domain by comparing with different domain registrars like GoDaddy, Namecheap, register.com, etc.

32. Blogtyrant

This tool and isitwp show the same result, so you don't need to look at each of them.

Here, you will get the best and short domains list, but the problem with this tool is you will not find the domains which are first timer or new, means most of domains here are high quality but they are already taken, so you have to work more hard and pay more attention, if you have to find good domain name from this tool.

33. Wpbeginner's Domain Name Generator

In this tool, you will get short list of best domains with mixed extension and you can also see if domain is taken or not, but this tool is not for finding large amount of names ideas related to your keyword but, it is good to use as they provide domains which are short and also you can see if that domain is available to buy or not.

When you select your particular domain from this tool and in the next window, it will show the domain with all the best extensions and their availability.

34. Dotomator

This tool is quite unique compared to others. In this tool, you have to put some of your targeted keywords in one box ( 1 ) and some of the target keywords in another box ( 2 ) and then just run the combine button, you will get very simple and small domain names.

I use it sometimes when I don't know what exactly I want to include in my domain name, so I go to this tool and put multiple keywords in both the boxes and run the combine button, it shows me all results related to my typed keywords.

Another tool by them is also very helpful which is Web 2.0 domain name generator which you will find on the top of their website.

This tool randomly generates domain names from which you can select any domain you want, l use this tool when I have no idea for domains, I just go on this tool and generate random domains and sometimes, I get a very nice idea.

This tool generates random domains but it doesn't mean they are of bad quality, many random domains by this tool are very good quality like rawjee.com, Zoofiii.com, etc.

But the problem is most of the random domains generated by this tool are already taken by someone and they are on premium sale, but we can take inspiration and ideas from those domains and create our own domain name.

35. Hostinger's Domain Name Generator

With this tool you can find the short list of domains related to your keyword with mixed TLD extensions like .com, .net, .info, .biz, .org and with a price tag at which they are selling, but not all domains shown by this tool are available to buy, many of them are taken.

You can check this tool, maybe you will get domain ideas faster, but I think many other tools do much better work than this tool, so why not use them and I also don't use this tool to find domains.

36. Hover

I found this tool while doing research for this article and I found it also quite good to use as it provides domain names with different extensions like .ceo, .shopping, .mom, .car, . auction, etc and many more extensions in industry categories like for art and design industry you will find .art, .actor, .photo, etc and for professional services .lawyer, . consulting, .legal, . attorney, . engineer, etc.

Most of the domains suggested by this tool are not new, but then also you can find many domains at cheap prices. You can do this if you want a specific name to be in your domain with different extensions.

37. Dan.com

Dan is a marketplace for buying and selling domains, but you can also do domain search here.

Here you will find filters for searching Generic top-level domains or other top level domain extensions, you can set price limit and letters length limit also.

You will find many domains related to your keyword with many different extensions and with price also, you can also know who owns that domain and whether he is a common person or company.

According to me this platform is good for buying and selling domains but it is not good for finding. So, you can try it if you are free.

38. Domize

On this you just have to type keyword that you want in your domain, it will instantly tell that, if domain and some ( 3 - 5 ) related domains are available to buy with these 4 extensions or not,

.com

.net

.org

.co

39. Makewords

I like this tool's name suggestions which are of good quality, but the problem is that, if your searched domain is a very common word, then you will not find enough unregistered domains related to your keyword. With this domain you can add a particular suffix and prefix that you want.

40. Dofo.com

Don't confuse dofo.com with dofo.blog, both are owned by a single company but they both do different work.

Dofo.com is for searching domains which give you domain suggestions with different extensions and with price. But, I don't use this tool a lot, but I read blogs a lot at dofo.blog, here you will get to know what types of words in domains and with what extensions they are selling. They update their blog monthly to get a proper trend of the domain industry.

List of business name generators:

that help in finding good domain names for blog

I am including business name generators because directly or indirectly they also help in finding great domain names.

So, just keep in touch with this article to know more about them and what are my personal opinions about them, and I will not only tell you their names, but also which is best and in which condition it is best.

Note : Tools in this category generate names for business, so the majority of domains will be of very high quality ( majority of the tools provide logos also ) but with high prices too.

41. Namify.tech

This new business name generators, I like their website look and domain names suggestions, which you can also find with industry filters like if I want 'save' in my domain and I work in finance sector, then you can select finance as industry and you will get list of all relevant domains to your industry with different extension.

Most importantly, I mentioned in it in top because from here you may not find cheap domains, but whatever you will find you will best with approximately 4 LOGOS, yes this is main point I mentioned it in top, they provide very high quality logos for your domains, you can take ideas for logo design and if you want to buy domain from them you can buy with just some clicks.

Here, I am not encouraging you to copy and paste logos, but what I am saying is to just take an idea of what fonts, style, colour you can use to make your domain's logo more professional and good looking.

42. Squadhelp

In this tool you will find many filter like length, price range, big ideas / emotions ( like fun, bold, confident, creative, etc ), category ( like IT, manufacturing, retail, etc ), styles ( like misspelled, compound, phrases, etc ) and many more, which will help you to get best business name.

What I like in this tool is the price filter which helps me to get premium domains of my budget range, style and emotion filter which is quite new and they also provide one good looking logo with it, so you don't have to work on logos.

43. Brandnic's business name Generator

This tool is helpful in finding the premium domain names for your business as it provides domain names for business so they are short, but remember that prices are not short here, for premium names you have to pay a proper premium.

In this tool you can find names by shortening them by length, popularity, price ( in Ascending and Descending order only ) and time when the domain was registered.

44. Business Name Generator

In this tool you will get all domains related to your keywords with all top extensions ( like .org, .info, .com, .co, .net, etc ) and in just one click you can see if that domain with a particular extension is available or not.

So, if you like a particular domain very much and want to see its availability with different extensions then this is the tool for you.

You will also find an industry filter in it ( finance, fashion, Art, Beauty, etc ) which will help you to get a more targeted domain.

45. Oberlo's domain name generator

This tool is mostly used as a business name generator, but it also helps in finding domain names.

It gives a list of top 100 best domain names suggestions, no doubt you will get top domains but the majority of the domains are premium domains, which can cost you more if you don't have that much of a budget and also they do not provide logo with domains which I don't like about them.

46. GoDaddy business name generator

It will do the same thing when you go to GoDaddy for checking the price and availability of the domains then it will give you some suggestions related to it. That's it.

47. Novanym

This tool have some new features, firstly you have tell this tool in one word that best describes your business, then tell it what you do ( construction, consulting, etc ) and then select what type of name you want ( Corporate name, technical name, traditional name, dynamic name, informal name, elegant name and contemporary name ).

Then just run this tool it gives you the best matching domains. They also provide high quality logos and with premium prices.

48. Brandbucket

This tool also gives you the domain suggestions related to your keyword with a quality logo.

When you search any keyword, let's say you type 'top' in the search box of this tool, then it will show you the results of domains which will include your keyword like 'toply.com', 'topstreet.com', etc.

This tool has another tool called 'catchy name generator' where you can find many high quality domains with logos and price tags. This section is helpful when you have an idea of what you want to search.

49. Biznamewiz

It works similar to BusinessNameGenerator which I had already discussed, it shows the same result and has the same filters like industry filter, name length filter and check availability of domains with top level domains. So, no need to check it, if you already checked on the previous business name generator.

50. Namium

Suggested names by this tool may not expensive only because it shows you the results like this, when I search 'baby' it will show many results with different 100+ suffix ( like let, lay, ly, go, box, by, ing, etc ) babyley.com, babying, babyhey, etc and by clicking on name you can see availability of domains.

Here you will not find all new domains, some are new, some are on sale and some are taken. This tool is useful if you want to get your domain with different suffixes, some of them I already discussed.

51. Shopify's business name generator

Yes, this company has a business name generator tool also, it gives good name suggestions with your typed keyword in domain and most of them are premium domains some of them are taken and some of them are on sale.

But, I think other tools I discussed above give you logos also, but this tool doesn't and that's the reason I don't use it a lot. While most of the domains generated by this tool are good, easily speakable and good to use.

52. HipsterBusiness.name

This tool is very different from all tools listed here, I am sure you will also like it.

This tool doesn't generate business names by asking you for keywords, instead it automatically generates different business names with special format like cannon & mom, red & chilly, Brass & dinner, etc it inserts '&' in every name, this is good to open up your mind to get more ideas for different names.

They also provide different domains in different styles and as far as I have tested this tool, I can say more than 90% of the names generated by this tool are new, which you can get at a low price.

53. OneClickName

This tool does not find your exact typed keyword names, but it will find domain related to your keyword's category like I typed 'coffee' which comes under 'food and drink' category, so it will show you the domains for 'coffee' like chocolastic.com, candilla.com, sweedi.com, etc domains which give signal of something like foody or eatable things.

When you click your selected domain, let's say I select sweedi.com, then again it will show you more related keywords to its category like frunja.com, frootiz.com, granapi.com, etc and they too provide a free logo with (.com) domain.

In short, this tool is good for finding domains related to the keyword's industry category.

54. Wordlab

They have many tools beside business name generator like Fantasy name generator, Character name generator, Band name generator, Team name generator and

ACME Namemaker Name Generator ( I like this one more than others ).

All these tools by wordlab will show you automatic name suggestions, you do not have to put any keyword or anything, it will generate all names automatically. ACME namemaker tool is best among all of wordlab tools and it is good to find short names but this tool does not give suggestions of only new names, it gives you a mix of suggestions of names among which some of them are taken and some are on sale.

55. Impossibility.org

Update : It's very bad to hear that this tool has stopped working!

This is also a very effective tool which gives a short list of best suited domains with your main keyword. It finds domain names with only .com extension. I use it a lot as it gives the best domain with shortest words possible and also domains are not random, they make some sense when you speak. I never miss this tool's suggestions, you too do not.

They have only 2 best filters: one is, if you want your keyword in the end or the beginning of the domain name and another one is, if you want verbs, nouns, adjectives to be in your domain and also you want 5 letters domain or 6 letters domain and another option is 'anything' which give you random, but all are of high quality and relevant.

56. Namefind

This tool will find the name for your business and domain name with only .com ( which is mostly used ) and it will give you a list of all premium domains but what I don't like is they don't provide a logo with them, it would be very good if they provided logos with domain names.

57. Namerific

This tool has two filters one is a price filter to select the range of price I am willing to pay for domains and another is length filter used to select length of domains.

While they also give you good name suggestions with best logos, but on some keywords they don't provide you many options.

The latest results shown by this tool on your keywords are more matching to your keyword, but as you scroll down the result page you will start getting domain suggestions unrelated to your keyword, which sometimes give you new ideas but sometimes waste your time.

58. Naming.net

I like this business name generator due to it's filters, especially the 'Combine your entry with' filter.

This tool have total 6 filters

1st one, 'Type a word, syllable or letter(s)' where you have to type a word which you want to include in your domain name.

2nd one, 'Combine your entry with' it is the format in which you want to get your domain names, like in

'ending rhymes' ( showglow.com, showoh.com, showlow.com)

'double rhymes' ( hellwellsell.com )

'Greek and Latin suffix' ( showell.com, showable.com ) and many more.

3rd one, 'Number of syllables desired' it is the number of words you want to see with you domain, if you select 1 it will show only one word with your domain like showhope.com, showgrow.con, if you select 3 or more, it will show you results like this, Showafterglow.com with 3 words in domains.

4th one, whether your typed keyword will appear on the left side or right side of the domain. Like I typed 'show' and selected the left side, it will show you the result like showhope.com ( your keyword at left side ) and if I select right side, it shows the result like hopeshow.com ( your at right right side ).

5th one, is extensions with which you want to get your domains like with .com, .us, .tc, .uk, .net, .org, etc but, you can select only one at a time.

the 6th one, is the number of results shown on one page.

Here, you will find a lot of flexibility to search for domains with different new filters, but you will not find logos with domain and also you not get only premium domains or only cheap domains, this tool gives mixed collection of domains which sometimes confuse and we have check it manually what are the price a particular domain.

59. Brandroots

This tool also works similar to the other good business name generator tools, when you search your type Keyword in the search box like I typed 'Tee' in it and it will show you a best result like TeeWee.com, Tee.ly, etc.

In the latest result, you will get the shortest domain possible related to your keyword and when you scroll down you will start getting the larger domain names related to your keyboard and all domains are premium and good looking logos are also available with them.

But, what I found is, this tool and Brandbucket show you the 90% same result on many keywords. So, only check one tool you want.

60. Anadea

This tool give you domain suggestions in few seconds, but they give you suggestions of domains which are premium and many of them are taken, means you can't buy them, and some of them are available to buy at only high prices and this tool also does not provide logos, where as many above tools provide logo also.

61. Get socio

This tool also works similar to the above tool that is 'anadea' but remember domain name suggestions by both tools are different.

This tool provides you with good domain name suggestions, but most of them are without logos and without a price tag ( so you have to manually check the prices of the domains on registrars ) and then also you will find many domains which are taken by someone.

62. Namelix

( Already discussed at 13 )

Namelix is a very popular domain name generator with a good looking interface and also with good suggestions.

It have 3 step to follow ( 1,2,3 )

At first step, you have to select the keyword you want to get in domain

At second step, you have select length of domain like 3 - 6 letters, 6 - 12 letters or 12 + letters

At third step, you have select any one of category listed below :

Brandable names popular (like Google and Trulia)

Or

Multiple words (like Facebook and Bitcoin)

Or

Foreign words (like Toyota and Audi)

Or

Compound word (like Fedex and Instagram)

Or

Misspellings (like Lyft and Flickr)

Or

Real words (like Apple and Amazon)

Or

Rhyming words (like SubHub and FireWire)

Or

Person names (like Giorgio Armani)

Then just press generate button and get best results, you get a list of all domain names with logos of them, what made me like this tool is it provides premium domain and new domain and some not too cheap and not to expensive domains suggestions with high quality logos, but remember that you may not find the cheap domains if you select 'Brandable names' filter while searching.

You can find a lot of mixed prices ( premium to affordable to cheap ) domains in other categories like 'rhyme words', 'compound words', 'multiple words' filters.

63. Influencermarketinghub

This tool really impresses me with website design, but it is not able to do the same with business name suggestions.

You just have to just fill your keyword in the search box and in a few seconds it gives you a domain name suggestion, no doubt that suggestions are good but the main problem is most of the domains here are already taken. If you get domain suggestions with high prices that is a different thing, but if it gives you suggestions of taken domains then it is a bad thing.

But, it has many other tools which may help you in other ways like : YouTube Fake Sub Checker Tool, Real Time Emoji Tracker, Hashtag Tracker Tool, Typing Speed Test Tool, Facebook Ad Mockup Generator, Instagram Hashtag Generator, etc.

64. FitSmallBusiness

I like their unique, actually the right way of finding a business name generator and after trying it you will also say this same line.

You have to fill the 3 boxes to get your best business name.

In 1st, What service do you provide or types of goods do you sell?

here, you will tell what you provide like you give software, food, or anything other.

In 2nd, What primary geographical area do you serve?

In which country or region you serve.

In 3rd, What is the last name of the founder(s)?

What is the last name of the founder, like Smith, Johnson, etc.

Then it will generate business names like Smith Software Team, German Software Team, etc.

These names look similar to big corporations and businesses or I am seeing something wrong.

Yes, it will not help in finding a domain, but I want to tell you about this tool as I like them a lot because my one friend had used this tool to name his company which was in the service sector and I had mentioned it in the last of this list so that you don't distract from the main topic.

65. WebsitePlanet domain generator

This website has many tools and one of the good tools is the domain generator, it is a quite simple tool you just have to put your keyword in the search bar then it will generate your domains in 2 sections.

In the first section, you will get the exact match domains with various extensions and it also checks their availability.

In the second one, you will get domains with different combinations of words with only the most used extension .com like I type "radary" it shows radaryzone.com, tradary.com, etc.

It also checks the availability of your domain on the topmost used social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

66. Nameming.com

It is very simple to use and made for specifically bloggers, just type your keywords, it will show you only available names with different categories of blogs you want to run on that keyword like Tech, SEO, Common, etc. The good thing is it will suggest you domain extensions related to the industry if .com is not available but most of the domains generated have a .com extension. It also suggest you your domain with commonly extensions.

Extra Bonus tools -

1. Namebio.com

This is also a simple domain name generator tool, but I don't use it for finding domains as this tool only gives domain names which are brought by someone and some of them are on sale and you can buy them.

Then why did I mention it here?

Only because when you go into the blog section of namebio site, you will find very valuable information that you can use in your domain business and most important section I like is they daily make list of top domains which are on sale and they also provide list of all top domains ( with price and date ) sold on different domain registrars and domain brokers ( like GoDaddy, Dynadot, Flippa, Namejet, Sav, Park.io, etc ) at a single place place, which helps in saving a lot of time and we can quickly see what types of domains are currently selling and where the trend is going.

In short, if you are interested in Domain Business then this blog is a must to follow.

2. Namechk.com

I know this tool also finds the domain names with some extensions like .com, .co, .cc, us, .info, .me, .am, .tv, .Farm, .Host, etc.

But, I use this tool to find availability of your selected domain on all ( almost all major ) social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Twitch, Reddit, Pinterest, Vimeo, Feedburner, Flickr and much more.

3. Catched.com

It is an auction platform, which I used a lot for buying and selling domain names. It gives you a one year free registration.

What I liked most about this tool?

In this platform, within a click you can see how many bids are placed and for how much money on a particular domain name and in just one click you can also see old posts of that domain name or you can say the history of the domain.

You can put filters of particular extensions ( like .co, .eu, .club, .Info, etc and I don't know why they don't have .com in the selection bar of the filter ) while finding domain names for buying from them.

4. WordClouds.com

I don't know what you will think after seeing this tool in this list, because it is totally irrelevant to the content which I had written.

What does this tool do?

In this tool you can upload many different words in the 'word list' section of this tool and then you can select the shape in which you want all words to appear ( square, letter format, circles, arrows, etc ).

Then it will show you all words in a very nice way in the format you had selected. I had mentioned it here because I use this tool to make a list of domains and then organise them into circles or square format ( given by this tool ) and this makes me feel organized and good, Lol !

5. Bulk domain name checker

Just search bulk domain name checker on Google, you will find bulk domain checker from godaddy.com, namecheap.com, namebright.com, etc. You can select anyone that you want as all tools do the same thing. But namebright.com we use mostly.

You have to put bulk domain names in a search box with extensions and then these tools will check if any domain is available to buy or not.

This is very helpful when you have a long list of domains and want to see which domains are registered and unregistered, in a short period of time.

6. Domainsherpa.com

Very interesting blog of a individual domain investors, he shares his good knowledge as well as of other successfully domain investors like how they succeed in blog posts and podcasts.

5 Best Domain Name Generators for (blog | website)
